Crown Alloys 8 ER80S-D2 3/32" Dia X 36" Steel TIG Rod comes in a 10 lb tube and contains 0.5% molybdenum and high levels of manganese and silicon to provide good wetting and good rust and scale tolerance. Welding rod yields quality welds with excellent bead appearance in both ordinary and difficult-to-weld carbon and low alloy steels. It is suitable for single as well as multiple-pass welding of a variety of carbon, low-alloy, higher strength steels in both the as welded and post weld heat-treated conditions.
