Item Details

  • Stoody® Stoodite® 12 5/32" Dia X 14" TIG Welding Rod comes in a 10 lb package and is ideal for wood cutting saws and bars. It is used in carpet, plastics, paper and chemical industries. Welding rod is non-forgeable and can be machined with difficulty using carbide tools. It offers HRC 46 - 48 hardness, 2 maximum deposit layers and develops abrasion resistance, good corrosion resistance. Rod operates at 120 - 140 A DCEN current, 20 - 40 V and requires argon shielding gas. It bonds well to all weldable grade steels, including stainless steel.
