- Hobart® Quantum Arc™ D2 ER80S-D2/ER90S-G Low Alloy Steel MIG Welding Wire with 0.045" Dia comes on a 33 lb steel reel. It is a high-strength, copper-coated mild steel solid wire that offers X-ray quality welds when used on carbon and low alloy steels. Welding wire is an ideal choice for single or multi-pass welding. It can be used with CO2 gas as well as with argon/CO2 mixtures to produce a high quality weld that is virtually porosity and slag free.
