3M™ Scotch® 2242 Series Black 30 mil Electrical Insulating Tape measuring 1 1/2" X 15' features single-sided rubber based adhesive for good instant adhesion. Insulating tape has rubber backing and finds its applications in primary insulation for cable splices and terminations, moisture-sealing and insulating electrical connections, bus bar insulation, moisture - sealing of cable ends, motor leads and wire and cable jacket repair. Weather resistant tape is linerless, self-bonding and features ethylene propylene base and physical/electrical properties are unaffected by degree of stretch. 600 V Flame retardant tape has a tensile strength of 250 lb/in, dielectric strength of 750 V/mil and can be 1000% stretchable for breaking and can be used for 194 deg F temperature.
