- Krylon® Products Group Sprayon® WL™ 740 Series 14 oz Aerosol Zinc Rich Galvanizing Compound is an ideal choice for stopping rust by electro-chemical action on steel or galvanized coatings and produces sacrificial coating that inhibits corrosion on ferrous metals. VOC-Compliant compound with a non-sagging formula fuses zinc to the metal substrate and delivers protection against corrosion equal to or better than hot dipped galvanize. It is a high performance primer containing 97% pure zinc dust pigment blended with epoxy resin. Compound with self-sacrificing zinc protects the base metal, preserving strength and prevents rust creepage when the area is penetrated or scratched. It is ideal for using in automotive, marine, nuclear facilities, power plants and refineries. It is also designed for using on industrial tanks, piping, welded joints, bridges, farm equipment, fences, wrought iron, gutters, structural steel, transmission towers and galvanized surfaces. Compound designed for using up to a maximum temperature of 600 deg F meets Mil-P-26915D standards.
