Lenox® Contestor GT® High performance Bi-Metal 28' 10 1/2" Bandsaw Blade measuring 2 5/8" X 0.063" has 1/1.3 Vari-Tooth® TPI. Bandsaw blade is ideal to cut material like aerospace alloys, titanium alloys, stainless steel and nickel based alloy. It features a special gullet design with increased beam strength to offer straighter cuts on larger and difficult to cut material. M-42 Standard with optional M51 edge material enhances tooth life and increases heat/wear resistance. Ground tooth allows cutting with less feed pressure. It offers opitmal chip formation in work hardening surfaces and features smoother tooth face. Bandsaw blade is commonly used when tool life and cutting accuracy is important.
