Greenfield Industries Chicago-Latrobe® 0.2656" Dia X 2.625" Gold Oxide Screw Machine Length Drill Bit with 17/64" straight shank is made of premium cobalt high-speed steel to render extended tool life when drilling tougher materials by hand or machine. Drill bit with 1.4375" spiral flute has a 135 deg P3 self-centering split point for minimal thrust and easier penetration. Heavy-duty drill bit with straw finish offers easy recognition of cobalt tools and is used in tool steel, alloy steel, carbon steel as well as cast iron drilling.
